Love this park around sunset (very popular place for photos as you'll will most likely see plenty of photographers with their clients here). There are nice woods to one side and then a trail that leads through the golden grass. Haven't explored too much but I love the parts that are easily accessible from the parking lot! Quiet and well kept. Beautiful Rolling Hills, Oak Groves and River beds; chock-full of local flora and fauna!
Nice and clean park, conveniently located in the neighborhood. Great for bike riding or just to take a walk. Almost always you can see deer and a bunch of other animals. Perhaps the only drawback there is that most of the park is very open, finding shade could be a challenge.
Great picture spot. Nice trails for mountain biking. Nice ride to get some climbs in. The descent is very tame.
A very strange experience none the less still good. From the unknown sounds of rattling everywhere, to being the only two people on the hike in the entire park on a beautiful Sat, to no park ranger in site, geckos poping out everywhere, the number of signs warning about mountain lions and rattle snacks, the wholes in the ground everywhere, the subtle trail that led past labeled poison oak, the caution tape being the direction TO follow the trails. Today was quite the experience on what appears to be generally, a very easy hike all around.
