Aloha Swimming is a hidden gem. Ms. Joy taught my son to swim very quickly. She uses her time very efficiently and pushes children to move beyond their comfort zone and gain confidence in the water. Ms. Joy is not warm and fuzzy, yet is very effective at teaching children how to swim.
Our family loves loves swimming with Ms. Joy. My daughter starting swimming at age 2 and has improved everyday. She is great with kids and encourages them to feel confident in the pool. I highly recommend Aloha Swim
Wonderful experience for my kids. Joy is amazing! She gets straight to the point with the students (kids) to learn how to swim safely and properly!
Aloha swimming is a wonderful facility. Our three year old son did not know how to swim and in less than 2 months, Joy had him swimming in the deep end! Our son now asks daily if he can go to swimming lessons because he loves them so much. Joy is extremely patient and great with the kids. We love it here!!!
WARM pool- the best part. Decent instructors. The owner is a little gruff/ no nonsense but very good at what she does.
You can pay extra to have a little one play on the steps during another child's lesson. But be prepared to pay for yourself as well if you need to accompany them.
Wound up switching schools to someone who balanced a warmer personality with my littles while still getting them to swim.
