Olamendi's Mexican Restaurant

First time to this place, chose patio seating with beautiful ocean view, bartender came over and greeted us with complimentary 1/2 shots of their featured tequila and asked for my 9yr old sons autograph with a jumbo sized pen he got to keep! Food was delicious, and prices were reasonable. Will be our go-to whenever in the area!

My wife and I had plans for some where different but when we arrived, the wait was an hour so we decided to find something else. We have seen Olamendi’s World Famous Mexican Food on many a drive from San Clemente to Dana Point but never stopped before.

The place is a little different, kind of like a gas station as you pay upfront. While I waited I was treated to a taste of some premium tequila.

WOW!!! So glad that we stopped this evening. I got the chiliquiles and my wife got an enchilada. We both thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely be back!!!

If you get an opportunity, stop here, you will not regret it!!!

Carnitas was delicious, and I enjoyed the house brand tequila sampler.
