    Theses people are great at what they do. Super fun energetic group will lead you and your family to the whale watching, dolphin watching hot spot. You can see Catalina Island from a far on the tour too.

    I came in with a little skepticism that this would be a good experience. Although one of secrets to happiness in life is to have low expectations so you are never disappointed and sometimes pleasantly surprised. This time I was pleasantly surprised. We had a great time. Took my two daughters. Saw one gray whale at first and then took a trip 10 miles out to see with nothing. I was beginning to have my doubts, but then we came about a huge dolphin pod which was accompanied by 3 humpback whales. It was truly magnificent. My daughters said it was the most magical thing they have ever experienced. The captain and crew were so helpful and friendly. I didn't love that they tried to sell pictures on board but that was minor. They were good at educating us on what were seeing and were awesome. We will definitely come back on our next trip. It was truly amazing.

    One amazing experience to do as a tourist! Did not regret this trip! Could barely hear the tour guide not sure if speakers were working. Also didn’t not get to experience what the underwater viewing was actually like, just saw water because the boat was moving when we went down there.

    Love everything about this tour! This has been the third time I went with Capt Dave and its great to go out with the catamaran, we had a great time and this time we saw lots and lots of dolphins a few humpback and grey whales. The crew makes sure to explain about what you are currently seeing in the water and do a lot of explaining about marine life. We even went down to the viewing pods to take pictures of the dolphins.

    We went out on 12/31/18 and had a great time. The captain located two humpback whales and it was an awesome experience. In addition, we saw hundreds of dolphins. This was our first whale watching trip and we went out on their 32 foot catamaran. Great choice for us because it really allows you to get up and close to the whales and dolphins and at the same time, you are able to get up and move around. We got a lot of amazing pictures. I would highly recommend Captain Dave's and we plan on going back out again in the Spring.
