Kaffee’s Music Studio

As someone in their thirties who has never read music or played an instrument before, I feel so fortunate to have found a talented harp teacher in Kaffee. She is extremely patient, explains things in an understanding way, gives realistic advice, and is fun to talk to. I started taking lessons four months ago, and despite my busy corporate job and occasional lack of practice, I have been able to progress confidently with playing a variety of songs. Her lesson book is great for learning different harp skills, though you may want some more songs to practice in between as the lessons can move quickly from one new skill to the next.

I also love taking music lessons in her studio since her cat likes to hangout nearby and listen to music. :) Thanks, Kaffee!

I am one of Kaffee’s adult learners. I recommend her as a teacher for any age. Kaffee is a great teacher. She is patient, kind and a very good musician. She is a problem solver too. When I started I didn’t have a harp; she rented me a lever harp until she helped me find my first pedal harp. Trained at USC, she plays multiple instruments. This means we can play duets as well as solos, which is fun and adds some variety to our lessons. I have been taking virtual lessons since March; these work really well. While I am always amazed at the mistakes she can catch over FaceTime, I can’t wait to get back into the studio! If, like me you always wanted to play harp, definitely give Kaffee a call!

I LOVE taking lessons from Kaffee! One thing I especially enjoy is her knowledge of multiple instruments. Whether I have a harp or piano (or sometimes guitar) question, Kaffee is the first person I ask and she provides great tips that have helped me continue developing my skills as a musician.

Kaffe is an excellent harp teacher. We have been taking lessons with her about 7 years now. She is keen at assessing each student’s abilities, strengths, and interests, then tailors individual lessons accordingly. My daughter really enjoys her lessons with Kaffee! Love her!
