(July 28, 2022, 2:17 pm)I've been coming here since I moved to California in the mid 90s, they have a great selection of miniatures, dice, role-playing supplements, and model kits(military,cars,gundams,imports), and various paint,boardgames,card games and model magazines. Definitely a place to check out if your into any of that.
(July 9, 2022, 9:17 pm)I needed the game Warewolf for a last minute group gathering. Didn’t have time to order online so Google led me here.
I was greeted by Sam the minute I walked in. And when I asked for help he answered all my questions and gave me great suggestions.
I did a quick walkthrough after I got my game and this place is super cool. I got so many great ideas for gifts for my Godson. They have all the cars, planes, and trains that you can ask for. I will definitely be back and support this cool local business.
(July 2, 2022, 1:42 pm)Excellent selection of models from the major brands to lesser known manufacturers. Not the fanciest store but they have everything. A real modelers store. My son and I love going there. We don’t go anywhere else for models or paints.

Although Brookhurst is a bit from my normal stomping grounds in Long Beach, if Steve at the War House doesn't have it, odds are they have it at Brookhurst. I went in for some modeling supplies, as the War House didn't have what I was looking for and Mod-L-Mania (see review) sadly closed shop.
