  Up until my last two haircuts they have all been at a typical budget hair salon. I wanted to have a barber a try and I'm so glad I came here. Always satisfied with how my hair is done well by the barber. She is always real and straight with ya.

  Finally a traditional barber shop. This place is a hidden gem! I've been bouncing between barber shops and its hit or miss getting a good barber which also comes with a 2+hour wait. Not to mention the atmosphere of these shops are not what they use to be. With all the customers sitting quietly staring at their phones. Not here. From the moment I walked into this shop I was part of the conversation. Even as a first time customer I felt like I was regular. It has that ol school atmosphere where everyone knows one another. The owner Irene, who I just had the privilege of meeting today, gave me the best cut I've had in a long time. My wife even noticed the difference instantly. Not only did I get a great cut, but I enjoyed the time I spent in her shop. I think I waited about an hour but that hour flew by and before I knew it it was my turn. I will definitely be returning to A Hideaway Barber Shop!

  Irene is the very best Barber I have found in a very longtime. She takes her time, if you get unruly while in her shop, she will, with all due respect, put you in your place. I've known Irene for 6 months, but this is the first time getting my haircut by her. It's very well worth the wait, her love of her clientele is abundant. Knowing everyone by their first names, and their family members as well. Irene is a true gem, hidden, but very well worth going off the beaten path to find. I will be a return customer for as long as she will allow me the privilege of not only knowing a 1st Class Lady, but a true professional!!!
