I met Jacob at the open house for the beautiful home I eventually purchased. He was the listing agent for the seller, but I decided early on that I would try to use his expertise as my own agent as he had insights into the home, the market and seller that would prove invaluable. He is a true professional. He never compromised his position as the seller's agent as he guided me through the rigorous process of competing with 18 other hopeful buyers for this wonderful, truly one-of-a-kind home. I had seen other nice homes that generated a wide interest and had sold very quickly. I decided that I had to move fast and confidently in order to compete for this home. Jacob made recommendations to me that proved to be spot on and he even helped me find a mortgage broker (and a new loan) when I expressed disappointment in the performance of my current lender's slowness in the approval process. Once I secured the winning proposal, the next 35 days of escrow happened so fast that I barely remember anything at all, but I know I was busy every day. Jacob used his knowledge, experience and dedication to help smooth out the entire process. This major headache became a manageable process as Jacob worked long hours and was always available to answer questions and reassure me that things would get done right. The biggest compliment you can give a professional person, such as Jacob, is a referral and I hope this review does just that. From pricing the house to every detail in between the closing of escrow Jacob was professional and quite impressive. He researched and priced the house just right to have a very successful open house with approximately thirty groups of people that came through that day. At the end of the day I believe there were six offers above asking price. Then the selection part was thought out with a buyer who met the criteria of being solid with a strong down payment and great credit. The reason I mention this is because I was impressed that each offer was thoroughly. looked at and then the strongest one was picked. He discussed with us each offer and their pros and cons. From the start to the finish this is the type of attention we received in the selling of this house. Everything was explained to us and when there were documents on the computer to sign he went over that with us as well. He never once assumed we should know how to do something and he was very prompt in getting back to us with all our questions. When the requests from the buyer were made for some repairs he helped us find the people to do these. He went so far as to get more than one repair person so that we could make the final decision. There was not one thing that he missed when it came to him assisting us in this transaction. I appreciated all his hard work and would definitely recommend him to anyone. Cynthia Johnson
