I have worked with Jay and Mikey on multiple engine projects. They have so far built the short block on my 361 roller for my C10 track truck as well as complete machine and assembly of a 257 L6 for my Camaro. Next they are going to rebuild a 230 for me and a 5.3 LS for another project I have on the list.

They are professional and very knowledgeable. In addition if I have had an issue with small engine assembly work I do myself I have been able to ask Jay how to complete the work. I highly recommend them.

Per a recommendation from Brandon at O'Reilly Auto Parts. I reached out to Surf Cities machine shop. And let me tell you I am so glad I did. After speaking with Francisco I knew these guys where the real deal and more importantly honest. So much so that during the removal of my heads. One of my bolts thread stripped so I called the shop and Francisco without knowing me totally trusted me with his tools. I was able to take the heads off thanks to him. Then after dropping them off to be checked Jay the owner started helping me figure out costs and let me tell you yet AGAIN these guys were straight up and honest no BS just hard working men taking care of the CUSTOMER. If your looking for an honest machine shop PLEASE do yourself a favor and call these guys. You will not be disappointed in how they help you out.
