East Coast Bagel

I have been getting bagels from here for around 20 years. Still my go to place for bagels in Irvine. My favorite is the jalapeno cheese bagel. There are so many different types it may be hard to pick!

I would have scored this bagel joint a five if they could maintain the outer crispiness that New York bagels have. However their pizza bagel is quite good and so are the other varieties of non-traditional flavors such as cheese and jalapeños. In the mornings there is usually a line. Their bagels are soft and chewy and taste good.

I can see why this place is so popular. The wait was insane but it’s worth it. I got the lox bagel. The bagel would’ve tasted amazing by itself already but coupled with lox, jalapeño cream and capers… it was heaven. While it was amazing, it’s not something I would go for often, unless they do Uber eats like their Long Beach location.

Bagel with pastrami or salmon was a bit more than 7 USD. They don't have prices on the menu. Bagel tastes very good but the wait on Saturday was a bit long.
Would recommend to go there but they seem a bit understaffed .
