  Irvine Ranch Historic Park is a very rare place that brought back 150 + years history of Irvine and preserving the legacy we can appreciate and learn today. It is one of the most significant areas in Orange conty, it is so amazing to see the area evolving from one of the greatest cultivated farms in the world (1910 Los Angeles Time) to be the one of most dynamic, safe and creativity modern city in the US.

  Really interesting little area that most people don't know about, but it was the headquarters for the massive Irvine Ranch once upon a time. The Irvine family home is now a branch library, and there are also a bunkhouse, restored foreman's homes, and other buildings from the early days of the Irvine operation.
  
  My dad lived on the Irvine Ranch when he was very young, as his dad was a foreman. He only recalled the name of the street where they lived, and lo and behold, that's the street where this museum is located. We assume he lived in one of the houses there, but I guess there's no real way to know. Sadly, my dad passed away last year before I was able to take him there to see it.
  
  Don't miss this little slice of OC history. You can walk around the entire place in less than an hour, and it's all free.

  Omygosh. It's great to hear about the past here and maybe just a little bit sad. I do love the old buildings. The layout and all of the native trees. It's just a little sad to see the growth around it

  A piece of historical knowledge is always good to gain. They have yearly events where multiple museum's get together to teach you about our history
