Gelson's

Gelson's catering is awesome! Everything about it - the quality, the presentation, the packaging and the service when I picked my order up. I can't say enough about the crudites cups! They're so tasty - the veggies so fresh, they look appetizing and so cute (!) and you avoid the double dip problem! We also got the cheese and fruit platter - again, awesome. Plenty of different, delicious cheeses and sweet, ripened fruits. Perfect! The mini sandwhiches completed our order and they were fresh, tasty and carefully arranged on the platter. Everyone commented on how good everything was and wanted to know where we got it. Everything was boxed in big, sturdy Gelson boxes with lids. We were completely satisfied.

The cashier. He was really great. I forgot my phone which holds my Gelson's card. He quickly looked it up courteously. He was engaged and had a nice smile. He knew the customer behind me by name. Kudos! Also loved the gentleman who helped me at the deli counter. It was his first day behind the counter but he was all smiles and ready to help. He offered tastes of foods I was considering but never tried before. All in all a great experience except the rain. I was drenched but you were ready with the plastic umbrella holders, so good for me and everyone who followed me. I don't want to make anyone slip and fall--just as I don't want to fall. Good Idea!

Quick and easy, in and out. They always have the items I want. Great quality, good price. Friendly & knowledgeable staff, eager to help. The sushi bar and beer & wine bar are pretty damn cool as well.

Gelson's finally renovated the store. There's a bar at the front of the store & and a sushi Bar with a counter to dine at. The renovation is great with one exception: the check out stands still feel like we're in the Late 80's. Really need to implement self check-out. Happy shopping!
