  Really beautiful preserve. Parking situation is very easy; park, pay, sign in and you're good to go. The trail is very well taken care of and even 1/8 of a mile into it you feel like you're far away from where you really are. Gate closes around 5pm so make sure you plan accordingly but ti's a beautiful spot

  Trails are well cleared and markers are easy to follow. Hiked the Blackjack trail to Ridgeline and followed to Edison, then Lake trail back to parking. About a 90 minute hike, moderate terrain. Hiked with my 14 year old. Bring plenty of water, there is very limited (almost non-existent) shade.
