(January 15, 2019, 9:30 am)We took our family, 1 teenager, 2 younger kids as well as grandparents in their 70’s and 80’s for a day trip to the tide pools. You need to make sure to check the tide reports before going and plan accordingly. We went at dusk which was great to have the sunset as well as low tide. We went about an hour before low tide and spent a few hours there and found numerous sea creatures. Of course regular, small fishes, hermit crabs, crabs, and snails. But then we also found sea stars, numerous giant sea slugs and once an octopus!

(January 14, 2019, 2:01 pm)This place is seriously magical! I walked down to the beach since I was staying up at the campgrounds. I believe daily parking here is $15. You walk under the highway to get to the beach. Maybe check the tide before going to make sure you can walk all the way over to the left if you want to go near the cliff with the giant house on top. There's not too much beach here, so it would be impossible to walk across at high tide. Parking fills up quickly so get there early. There are trails you can access as well. You can see signs for maps, and there are plenty of picnic tables to hang out.

(January 12, 2019, 12:09 am)Great place to pay for the day $15 or by the hour $5. Dog friendly but need to stay off the beach. Walking paths and great scenery. A must see if you like state parks.

(December 27, 2018, 10:52 am)Beautiful and relaxing place to take a walk along the beach. Tidepools during low tide are amazing.
The path to get to the beach great in the spring time. Great views and picture opportunities.
Parking is expensive but provides you a short walk to the walking paths.
