Erin had patient with people with questions and concern, she answers them and explains it with details. The encouraging words from her helped me keep trying and eventually get to stand on the board and peddle, the pictures she helped to take was amazing and for sure will be the great memory and prove... that I was on the board for about 2 sec haha. She has a way to comfort and encourage her students so if anyone is looking for a great experience or instructor, I highly recommend Sunset stand up peddle!

(March 16, 2018, 12:49 pm)My daughters and I had a truly amazing experience paddle boarding with Erin and Jason at Laguna Beach. We are experienced flat-water paddlers, but had never been on the ocean before and Erin's calm and confident instruction was perfect. She is professional and knowledgeable but also low-key and fun. We went out mid-morning and were joined by dolphins and a sea lion swimming around us! Can't wait to go back!

She was accommodating, and best of all she lets you do your own thing- she'll give you a play by play of what to do, but doesn't waste time and let's you out into the water to have fun! Would definitely recommend to anyone, beginner or experienced!

(January 28, 2016, 10:07 am)Took my mom for her birthday with a group of friends, we did the paddleboard yoga class and had SO much fun! Erin was so helpful booking this surprise birthday party for me, and got a second instructor last minute because my group got bigger. She was very knowledgeable, sweet and fun, and helped us all feel pretty comfortable on the boards. I can't wait to go back, such a wonderful, beautiful morning workout! And Erin tooks pics of us while we were out doing yoga, some fun, cute group birthday pics ????

(September 3, 2015, 11:11 pm)While on vacation in Laguna Beach, we decided we wanted to try stand up paddle board and did a quick on-line search and called Sunset to ask about rentals. Erin was amazingly kind on the phone and gave us lots of info. We took a walk along the beach to get over to her place - with an opportunity to try another place along the way - but there was something in Erin's voice and personality on the phone that made us keep walking to rent from her. We are really glad we did - she was so much fun and gave us all kinds of tips for launching and coming back in and she is clearly passionate about paddle boarding. She taught us a lot about the waves, the swell, high tide, low tide - just in conversation because we were curious and we're from the desert! She is also an avid surfer so she know her stuff! We would highly recommend her company, Sunset, and although we didn't have a chance to try it that day, she offers a yoga class out on the boards as well...next trip!
