I have been bringing my daughter since she was 2 weeks old Best Swim class.
This is the best place to take you kid to learn how to swim. I cannot recommend it enough. Julie has a way with kids that is amazing. We started taking our 2.5 month old baby to her for swim lessons and have been so impressed with her manner and knowledge. If you're looking for a place to start swim lessons, Swim With Phyn is the best!
Julie is an amazing swim teacher! We have been bringing my daughter to her class for about a year now. Julie has always been very patient with my daughter and has taught my husband and I so much as well. She makes the lessons enjoyable for the kids, while also making sure to review safety procedures when using any pool. My daughter has learned so much and we are so happy we have been bringing her to Julie’s class.
Julie is an amazing instructor. We used to be with a different swim school where they just had us do the same thing over and over again with our toddler. Julie has a very structured program where the kids and parents are learning a new skill every week in the parent and me classes. Yes, the parents are learning new skills too- she gives tips on safety, how to hold your child to encourage kicking, how to cue your child to hold their breath before going underwater, etc. She is great with the kids and always makes it a fun and positive environment for them.
Both our children learned how to swim with Julie, from the time they were physically able to get into the water until they were independent swimmers (and aged out of lessons!). We have regular access to pools, lakes, and the ocean, so learning a safety routine around the water, and teaching them not to panic, how to hold their breath and find a safe spot, were all of utmost importance. Julie teaches safety from the minute you walk in. That extra safety was worth every penny.
