Thornsberry David A

David is a really knowledgeable Dermatology Physician's Assistant. He is great with pre-teens and teens for acne or rashes. He has a great way of connecting with the kids with sports talk and hilarious age-appropriate puns. Both of my kids got a kick out of his fun personality. As a mom, I appreciate his expertise in guiding us in skin care and prescriptions that can be added to the kids' skin care regiment.

The location is great for Aliso Viejo and Laguna Niguel families, right near the Sports Chalet at Alicia and Pacific Park.

If I could change one thing it would be the front office staff. They over-schedules the brilliant David Thornsberry to the point where we have had to wait an hour to see David on more than one occasion. They were quite unapologetic about it like it was normal operating procedure. Another odd thing was that they are the first doctor's office that I have visited where they make you pay an up-front fee for an HSA program. Normally I get billed after they settle up with the insurance company. Maybe that is the direction HSA medical billing is going but they were a bit rude about it.

David is worth enduring the front office. Just bring some homework or some music and headphones for the kids so they can tolerate the wait.
