The Potholder Cafe Los Alamitos

I was looking for a new breakfast place to try that wasn’t far away and offered a sit down breakfast with lots of options including chicken fried steak and pancakes. This place delivered.

They have an outdoor patio and about 12 tables indoors. We chose indoors as it was still a bit overcast outside.

We were greeted by a friendly server that told us to pick a table. She was quick to take our drink order and bring menus.

I ordered the breakfast enchiladas and the hubby got the Sam’s breakfast bowl. Both were amazing! I loved my enchiladas and the potatoes were yummy too. Hubby’s bowl was piping hot! The enchilada sauce had good flavor and he’s pretty picky on his sauce.

Parking was a bit challenging as the driveway does not go all the way through so when it was full, we had to back out to turn around and find parking.

I would definitely recommend giving them a try. We will be back.

Very good experience eating at the Potholder, food is tasty and plentiful. They are short staffed but still do a fantastic job waiting on everyone. Please be patient. 👍 👌

The food is amazing! The menu has so many delicious food it's hard to choose! We have been here multiple times and it never disappoints! We love the charming outdoor dining area. Last time we were here my husband lost his wallet and the helpful servers found it and reached out to us, saving us a lot of hassle and headache!
