(January 1, 2019, 12:50 am)The good we ordered today came with soup or salad and dinner rolls. They were good. The service was good too. However, being a vegetarian, I can only order pasta. Maybe they should consider expanding the choices for people like me.

(December 18, 2018, 10:50 am)Love going to Shenandoahs for that last 25 years or so. Warm fritters served as soon as you're seated! Pretty surroundings outside, like a little secret garden. Save room for the German butter cake!

(November 18, 2018, 10:44 pm)This is our go-to place for special occasions (birthdays, anniversaries, you name it). Reservations recommended! The patio seating is great, especially on a warm summer evening, but still quite nice in November. The food is excellent and the service is great.

(September 14, 2018, 3:33 pm)This place seemed to be getting busy right when they opened at 5 on a weekday, so it might help to call and make reservations just to be on the safe side. My mom and I both ordered the fried chicken. The waitress was extremely helpful explaining that we should get a full order instead of half, suggesting it would be delicious the next day for sandwiches. She was definitely right about that. My one recommendation though is avoid the apple fritters that come complimentary at dinner if you are getting the fried chicken. My mother pointed out that the fried chicken batter was similar to the apple fritter. After that I couldn't get the idea and the taste of donut batter out of my head while I was eating the chicken. They deep fry the chicken in the same oil as the fritters I'm guessing. The next day it didn't matter so much. Aside from that, the patio is amazing and relaxing. Many people were there enjoying it. The biscuits and everything else were delicious. I will definitely be back here.
