I tried this place a few years ago in Dallas, TX and I never forgot about it. It was so good that I was jokingly saying they need to come to Baton Rouge, and I’m so glad to see they did! This might be the best fried chicken I ever had :)
We ordered the Mixer for the whole family with spicy tenders with gravy, roasted & fried chicken, dirty mixed rice, mashed potatoes & Mac and cheese for $55. It was a great amount of food, warm, and well-seasoned. Rolls were my favorite - light and delicious!
First time tonight: I had the roasted chicken (dark meat), dirty rice and mac-n-cheese. The food was seasoned very well, chicken was tender and juicy. It was fresh and hot...so good! The drive-thru speaker was down but the young man who took my order at the first window was very pleasant. The young lady at the 2nd window, who handed me my food, was a sweetheart also. I'll be back. Good job y'all!
The main reason I got here is for the rolls. Yummy... The roasted chicken is the better option in my opinion. Chicken salad is not bad... Shrimp are a no go. Fish is ok.
If you want those old-fashioned Ryan's yeast rolls, this is your spot.
I love five guys. They have amazing burgers and the greatest fries. Compared to any other fast food burger joint I’d say five guys is way better and always hits the spot. I’m not sure what they do to their fries, but I like it and would suggest this place to anyone who wants a good burger!!!
