Dr. Kim is a phenomenal and caring surgeon! I am so grateful to have come across his information during a crisis situation while I was visiting my brother in California. I was admitted to the hospital with numbness in my waist and severe back pain. The surgeon at the hopsital I was at was insisting on doing a surgery that had nothing to do with my presenting concerns. Concerned, I searched for a 2nd opinion and I was able to meet with Dr. Kim. As I shared my concerns, he listened carefully and went above and beyond to take on my case. After going through a lot of red tape to transfer hospitals, Dr. Kim operated on my back on Christmas Eve! I am about 8 weeks post op and feel great. The numbness is improving every week which is a really good sign given I have another year to see how my nerves recover after being compressed so severely. I have way less back pain and am looking forward to recovering well. Dr. Kim is amazing and I thank God he took on my case! Best regards from NY!
