I cannot recommend Dr. Melikian enough. I live in Alaska and I was trying to connect with a surgeon to do a two level artificial disc replacement. I was impressed by Dr. Melikians education and training, but also very surprised by the wonderful reviews I read from his previous patients. From our first virtual visit I could see why his patients are so satisfied with him- he was calm, he presented options, he always provided enough time to answer my questions, and I never felt pressured to move forward with surgical intervention. Once I decided to move forward with surgery, his assistant Cecilia was a pleasure to work with and always answered my questions and emails promptly. She truly made the scheduling and preparation seamless. Then when it came to surgery, the DISC surgery center was clean and comfortable, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. I stayed one night with them and I received the highest level of care and preparation for discharging the next day. I’m one week out from surgery and I’m so happy I decided to go to Dr. Melikian. I absolutely would recommend him to friends and family

Dr. Melikian replaced my C5/C6 discs a little over two weeks ago. I am 1000% satisfied with the results. I experienced excruciating pain for several months and it impacted my life everyday. It was all gone immediately after surgery. Dr. Melikian made me feel completely at ease from my first visit through post surgery. He made sure it was my decision regarding surgery and he supported my decision based on the condition my discs were in. Thank you Dr. Melikian for improving my life. I am very grateful!

After a long dental career and being a “weekend warrior”, my lumbar disc finally gave out. The pain was excruciating, so I was very lucky to have been referred to Dr Melikian by my son-in-law, who recently had successful back surgery by him.
Dr Melikian’s staff made all of my appointments very easy and were able to quickly schedule my surgery.
The microdiscectomy went perfectly and the pain was reduced to nothing as soon as the procedure was completed.
Dr Melikian’s bedside manner is awesome and his surgical skills are top-notch.
I wouldn’t wish on anyone the need to see Dr Melikian, however if needed, he’s the best!

I cannot recommend Dr. Melikian highly enough if you are considering spine surgery. I am 63 years old, very active, and 5 weeks out from a single level cervical disc replacement. Dr Melikian and his staff are quite simply excellent. My visits were thorough, unrushed, kind, and left me feeling confident in his expertise, experience, and advise. He is clearly cutting edge, and his group does the most disc replacements of any other group around. Dr. Melikian is an excellent surgeon. I initially found him by searching for best neck surgeons, and then also reading his great reviews. I experienced his expertise first hand with a very successful disc replacement, and quick recovery. The surgery center was absolutely top notch and the nursing care perfect. Dr. Melikian did not stop his excellent care after the surgery, but has communicated with me regularly, answered the few questions I had, and cleared me for full activity as of 5 weeks! I think Dr. Melikian is a gem of a person and a REAL PRO. You are in very good hands with him!!

Dr. Melikian and his staff were amazing! I had to have my L5, S1 Micro discectomy. I was In tremendous pain. Dr. Melikian and staff were easy to contact and make things happen. 3 weeks after surgery I am feeling so much better. Before and after care instructions have been amazing and easy to understand. I had prior surgery 3 years before through another hospital and doctor and I can not even begin to tell you the difference in my recovery. If you want the best in getting back to a normal life, Dr. Melikian is the doctor for you!
