(August 13, 2018, 2:30 pm)This place is rarely packed and provides the best sunsets. They have cottages to stay in but you’ll need to book about 6 months in advance and there are many public restrooms that are well kept and clean. If any beach is our go to, Crystal Cove is it.

(July 5, 2018, 2:26 pm)Brautiful location! We visited for a reception. The cottages are great and the beach is right there! The catering staff were awesome all around.
The drawback is getting down there. There is a shuttle that is $1.50 per person, per trip. Plus you pay to park. There is a dropoff so you can unload beach/picnic stuff but the shuttle drivers have zero patience for people unloading. We were bringing a bunch of stuff for the reception and they would not make any exception for us to drive into the inner parking lot or even drive down to the cottage. -

(June 28, 2018, 12:14 am)Family favorite. Reserve a table at the Beachcomber restaurant. Right on the beach, great food. Take a stroll down the beach to the tide pools.
