“The Laundromat is clean, the staff was helpful, and the machines worked fairly well. The "Three Load" front loader washers, were able to effectively clean, (without damaging), my heavily soiled, compressed, down pillows which had not been washed in many years. Of the two dryers I utilized with identical settings, one was noticeably cooler than the other which resulted in additional money being spent. Although the staff member who initially instructed me regarding their card system form of payment had a pleasant demeanor, her inability to speak English greatly increased the amount of time it took to help me understand how to utilize that system. All things considered, I will be returning to Lighthouse Laundromat.”

“Really great food! The service is also really good. The bus boys are di b friendly and helpful as are the waitresses. My hubby loves the chili verde and i like the breakfast enchiladas. The enchilada sauce is the best I've ever had. I wanted to know which one they used so i could buy it. The chef makes it as he does all the sauces. The salsa is also excellent and the chips are fresh. It's a very clean place. They have a full service bar next door so if you want a cocktail they can make you one. Good place to get some good food.”

“I was out and about and stumbled upon a model shop called Military Hobbies located in Orange, CA. They had so many classic kits that you just don't see very often. I'll definitely be back! I talked with a gentleman behind the counter (I think his name was Bruce) and he was so friendly and helpful. I was stoked to find a kit I've been interested in for awhile. I've been buying so many kits online that it was cool to actually walk out of a store with my prize, LOL!!”

“I'm sitting here right now, looking out from our spot at Orangeland RV Park, after a long, grim trip across COVID country. What a lovely place this is! The staff couldn't be nicer - they were so incredibly patient with us. I blew out my knee in St. Louis, and was held up several times. They just kept changing our reservation, and though I asked them to charge me for this service, they refused. We even got a charming gift bag when we arrived! You'll get all the amenities. The little camp store is wonderful, and there's a Ralph's about a mile away. The park map is filled with connections listing various services you may need, including repairs. But what strikes me most about this park is the landscaping. We've been staying at Newport Dunes when we came to see my husband's family, (not a lot of RV parks in LA) and the place costs twice as much as this one, with crummy, tiny spots, no grass, and dirt/sand everywhere that gets in everything, and the smell hangs around with you until you get home. This place is green, filled with orange trees. Yes, you can pick an orange for yourself, and the trees are full of them. Of course there are the usual LA negatives - the lack of space. The dog run is a bit silly, about the size of a coffin. The spaces are small, and you may have a time of it with a large, slide-filled rig. We upgraded to a place with a table and umbrella, and I'm glad we did. We have a lot more space. The pads are level, shiny clean blacktop. If you're looking for a place to stay in LA, we've done just about all of them, and you couldn't do better than Orangeland.”
