Just spent two weeks here in site #48. Great view of the lake from my site, which had nice shade. I have stayed here before in some of the more crowded areas, but this loop was the best. The sites are not close together and it was even quiet on the weekends. Had 3 5G bars most of the time. Park is beautifully maintained. Tip: dump station near entrance is on a slant, so go to the one on the far side of the campground. It’s level and a breeze to use.

Stayed here at the end of May. Has really great views of the lake, very close to attractions. Bathrooms were like something from a horror movie: peeling paint, main door doesn't close so the toilets are full of bugs and doesn't feel very safe as a woman.

Growing up in Fort Worth as a kid in the 80’s, we spent many weekends on Benbrook Lake and camping in the Holiday Park camp grounds. My father still takes his camper out to his favorite site In Holiday Park several times a year and we enjoy visiting him and bring his grandkids to play at the lake.

The park offers a variety of amenities for campers and visitors year round from tent sites, equestrian lots with horse corrals, utility hookups and screened shelters - most with lake views and all with access to the boat launch, loading docks and fishing docks. There are public bathrooms with showers, dump stations for people in trailers and concrete pads with covered patio tables for picnics.

The developed trails throughout the park are perfect for biking, hiking, skateboarding and horseback riding. The deer are so accustomed to visitors throwing deer corn that they come every evening at dusk to see what’s available. My father has been feeding them for so long that they follow him and his feed buckets of corn to the fields where he dumps it. He’s seen turkey’s, bobcats, skunks, possum and birds galore!

He has a favorite campsite that he books several times a year and pulls his boat right up to the shoreline in front of his camper and covered patio table. The campsite includes a fire pit, complete with a grill, for cooking hotdogs and s’mores! His campsite includes electricity hookups, fresh water, a paved driveway for his camper and truck and a water view where he parks his boat at night rather than hauling it back and forth from the marina. It’s pet and kid friendly with lots of space to play, tons of trees to provide shade and a lot of wildlife to enjoy. It requires reservations in advance, so call ahead to book a spot for you or your family. It has our highest recommendation!

Nice quiet wooded park many sites on the water. Not as nice as other COE campgrounds we've stayed at. Bathrooms were substandard . The one nearest our site (74) was dirty, paint peeling everywhere, men's side was closed. Main bathhouses were not much better. Glad we were self contained. No water hook ups so we filled fresh water tank before getting to site and were able to get through 5 nights. Close to Fort Worth to check out the Stockyard .

Very much enjoyed our stay. We camped on a Friday and Saturday night. Not every spot was filled but there were a lot of people. Everyone seemed to be having a great time and apparently there were even 2 birthday parties because we heard singing. It was chilly and no swimming. The lake is down pretty far so the boat ramp was closed. One dock is closed. The other was pretty nice but the water was only a couple of feet deep. Our campsite had plenty of shade and quirky trees. There are no bbq grills other than the fire pit. Make sure you have an alternate method of cooking during a burn ban. We improvised with burgers on the Blackstone lol. Beautiful quiet sunrise was fullfilling. There are quite a few campsites here and we will definitely be back. Hopefully the lake will be up a bit.
