Laundry Basket South in San Clemente

Will explain the 4 stars, but first I really like this laundry mat, and even drove 30 minutes to use it. Its always clean, never full of people, especially Mom's and all their kids, at least not when I have been there. This time though I did need the restroom and it has a code pad on the door so had to cross the street and use jack in the box. SO NOW WHY JUST THE 4 STARS: I'm used to paying $2.50 for top loaders and the time for wash is between 27 minutes to 32 minutes depending where and the water fills pretty fast. So this place however normal wash said 22 minutes, water just took forever, by the time was filled had 17 minutes wash. That's kinda a bummer, I would like if they could turn the water up so as it can fill faster. @ $.3.00 a load. Now absolutely love the dryers. Clothes come out great and not fried. Definitely will come back.

Cannot say enough good stuff about this place.
This place is great. Well kept, clean, everything works! Great machines. Prices are right and again clean.
The owners take some real pride, you can tell.
Totally my local spot for laundry!
If you gotta wash your stuff... do it some place nice like here!

Snowbirds from Wisconsin... LBS was great.
Pros: easy to find on the main drag; very clean; change machine; choices of washing/dryer machine sizes; reasonable price for both wash & dry; lots of clean folding surfaces.
Cons: because it is on the main drag & close to an intersection, there was no parking for our 30’ RV. We ate a great lunch at OC Tavern a couple of days before and secured permission to park in their lot so long as we vacated before they opened at 10:30am. We appreciated their cooperation.
