I was in earlier for my favorite treat when I noticed a new young gentleman and another girl working. The gentleman jumped up to help me and greeted me with a genuine smile on his face. His customer service skills left a smile on my face. I think his name started with a D (it's an unusual name). On the other hand the girl hardly looked up or at me and when she did, there was a permanent glare on her face and she gave me the vibe that she didn't even want to be there. In fact she was very rude. It was sad to see one employee doing all the work and being so kind and humble about it while having to work with someone that obviously doesn't care about her job.
Thank you again "D".. you brightened my day and I will surely be back to see you!

Great food, service, patrons, and attitude! Hang with the locals.

This is a nice local bar and restaurant. Pretty small, but clean. Not fancy, and located in the small San Clemente DMV strip center.

The menu is somewhat limited, but I have had the cheeseburger and slaw twice, and it is excellent. The slaw is very fresh, and not overly dressed with mayo.

My wife has had two different hotdogs, and they were also good. Ditto for the tacos. The chicken and cheese quesadilla yesterday was also tasty.

The drinks are reasonably priced, and they have a nice selection of draft beers. They also have a brown bag mystery beverage that I have seen others purchase, which is fun.

The owners are always on sight working hard to give their customers good service, and their bartender is a real nice guy.

We like to give our business to smaller companies striving to do well by their customers, and these owners fit that category nicely.

I recommend Shorecliffs Bar and Grill highly.

We were there for the first time last night for dinner & drinks! Had a great time with the locals, such a warm, friendly environment, GREAT tacos (BEST EVER!), salsa, drinks & camaraderie! FUN TIME, we'll be back!!

What an improvement from Poches. Neighborhood bar that caters both to locals and not so local people. Completely rehabbed the place from it's disgusting past and the new owners are super friendly. Great beer selection and all kinds of alcohol are available. Tacos were top notch and are reasonably priced.

I'll be back for both the alcohol and the food. Back table even has an ocean view. What's not to love ??
