AMFM Mental Health Treatment Center

AMFM saved my life. I cannot thank them enough for getting me through my darkest times. The staff is amazing, caring, and kind. If you are reading this and are struggling, please don't give up and remember you can get better too!

Our 25 year old daughter was suffering from severe depression and attempted suicide. In my research I found the services in our immediate area of San Francisco to be extremely limited or more geared toward hospital. We searched for help and were referred to Mission for Michael by a friend. She was there for 6 weeks and made great progress. The variety of therapy sessions, family support-professional staff, were incredibly helpful. The staff, especially the intake staff, were very responsive and quick to assist us. If you or a loved one are looking for help with mental illness NOT drugs, please call Mission for Michael, this program made a huge difference in our daughters life. She will be resuming college in the fall and is much more stable and happy.

The gratitude I have for AMFM can't be expressed enough through words. I sent my son to AMFM in mid 2020 with little hope things would ever change. We've sent him to multiple facilities and each time he would leave early because he didn't like the facility or he wasn't ready to make the change. We decided to give him one last opportunity and after a few recommendations and research we chose AMFM. My son was hesitant on going but in the end agreed to go. The support I got and my son received from the admissions team was something that immediately made us feel like AMFM was going to be different.

My son went in during the height of Covid and to see the extent of safety measures AMFM put in place was very comforting. 1 week into treatment my son called me to tell me something that I had been hoping to hear for years. He let me know that he was comfortable and eager to continue down this mental health recovery journey. The one on one work that his therapist Ashley did with him was something he's never received in his prior treatment episodes. Fast forward 8 months and my son is doing great. He still has struggles but he's taking his meds as directed which is drastically helping.

As a father, having my son back is something I never imagined I would get again. This company not only helped him but our family as well. I'm so grateful for AMFM.

Our family is beyond grateful for the teams at AMFM. We tried many times to get our daughter the help that she needed and nothing seemed to work. She had attended 2 other centers over the years for help that both claimed they specialize in treating mental health however, we came to later find out they were just addiction treatment centers that focus very little on mental health.

After speaking with the onboarding team at AMFM we were skeptical, not because of anything they did or said, but more because of our past experiences and money spent to try and help our child which felt wasted in our previous attempts. Our daughter means the world to us and we cannot thank the teams at AMFM enough. They did a great job of keeping us updated on the process as she went through the program.

We are happy to report our daughter has successfully completed the program a few months ago and is doing substantially better than before. It's like having our little girl back. THANK YOU AMFM!!!

She still attends regular therapy and the issues are not gone, however she has a much better footing and many more tools and support to continue life in a much healthier way.

Highly recommend this program to anyone looking for mental health treatment.
