I had to take my food to go because there was a mariachi band playing inside and it was way too loud, their sound system was on full blast! I got the mixed goat and it was pretty tasty though there were a lot of bones big and small inside so I had to pick them all out. The salsas also weren’t to my liking, they were just ok.

(March 21, 2023, 1:56 pm)When I consider this place, Diamond in the Rough comes to mind. It was just down the street from my hotel so we went out of convenience. I'm SOOOOO glad we did. The food was delicious. The staff doesn't speak much English, but they do seem to understand it, so be prepared for that. The menu was all in Spanish so also be ready for that. But if you can get through those two conditions, be ready for some great food.

(April 15, 2022, 5:05 pm)Great service and tasty food. Tacos de birria is my go to. Another good option is Salsa de Puerco (red sauce with pork meat). In the picture, beans were substituted with salad. They normally give you a side of beans with chips as an appetizer.

(October 23, 2021, 6:02 pm)Food was actually really good aside from people telling me I would be sick and food was not good. The only thing in my opinion that needs improvement is the service and red salsa.
I ordered their barbacoa with goat and consome- it came with tortillas, rice and beans. Tortilla were handmade and fluffy but could only eat one. The meat was so tender and consome was excellent.
Recommend you try their bean tlacoyos. Must be a house specialty.
