Golden Spa

We had an excellent stay (4 days) at the Marriott Costa Mesa! Mr Christopher Loftis made our check in absolutely seamless, with his care to every detail & every concern we had. Traveling with Augustus (our dog) is an experience in itself, but we were assured the hotel would be most accommodating. The grounds are beautiful for walking with your dog (or even if your alone)
Our room was overlooking the pond / pools. Their well maintained walking trails, a perfect view, a clean, well laid floor plan of our room, really did help to make our stay very outstanding!

I spent my birthday at this hotel in January- it wasn't too crowded at the time. I found the staff very friendly and accommodating. My room was spacious, had a balcony, and a view of the pool. The location is prime and I was able to walk to quite a few food locations. This hotel isn't too far from john Wayne airport or the beaches- easy uber ride. I don't believe breakfast is included in the stay and they weren't doing room service when I was there- possibly covid related? not sure, but there is a very nice bar in the lobby to sit and enjoy. The back of the hotel has a pond and green grass/paths to explore as well. I felt very safe in this location- the pool and hot tub are fenced in so you don't have to worry at night. If I ever come back to costa mesa I will be staying in this hotel- it left a great impression on me.

Gorgeous stay. Great location. Safe near many other artsy hotels and corporations but very close to the freeway, airport, food, malls and coffee. What else if there to ask for?

They have an M Club lounge for tiered members with comp breakfast and lite fare in the evening.

This place is up scale and very nice. The rooms are nice, clean, and sheek. The bed was comfortable but on the small end. We arrived late (between 3-4 am). The staff member at the desk was nice, told us where to park.
I thought parking and breakfast were included due to the description (my reason for 4 stars).
Breakfast is $22 per adult & $14 per child
Parking is $30 a NIGHT

It’s just upsetting when businesses promote business that it’s included and it is not.

This Marriott at Costa Mesa is quite nice, the pool was full of people on a hot Sunday afternoon in Southern California. I only stayed here for one night after three days of conference at an airport Hyatt Regency, it’s quite relaxing. The business lounge here is open 24 hours and fully stocked with bottles of orange juice, cold spring water, and some biscuits during non breakfast and non evening happy hours, it’s next to the swimming pool so a lot of customers come in and out for drinks by the pool. I got a complementary suite upgrade with my Titanium membership, which was very nice. All in all, it’s a very pleasant and relaxing stay ! Cheers!
