  We are new to the area so of course we checked trip advisor and saw all of the positive recommendations. So decided to give it a try. We weren't disappointed, the food was delicious with just the right amount of seasoning and they make all of their tortillas by hand. The only drawback is that it is so popular that parking can be problematic if you have a larger vehicle like a full size pickup.

  As far as authentic, home made Mexican food goes....this place is the bomb! Family run. You order a taco and lady in the back makes it fresh ON THE SPOT! Everything thing is great. I recommend the carnitas (best eat they got) anything! The cucumber drink is off the hook and refreshing. Good people. Great food.

  This place is as authentic as it comes. This brought me back to my child hood days and eating at my friend's house while his mom cooked Mexican food in the kitchen.
  
  The smell was intoxicating as I walked in and I knew I made a good choice despite the difficult parking.
  
  The tacos were as good as they get and the burrito was huge and flavorful.
  
  The staff is extremely friendly and you can see them in action in the open kitchen. There is a lot of care that goes into homemade food like this.

  Every time I'm in Santa Ana I am sure to visit. The tacos are outstanding and the staff is super efficient and friendly.
