Asking if I wanted specific services done and letting me know what it would run me if I even chose to do so. “I just randomly stopped in because I needed a haircut and I just happened to see them on my somewhere else. The ladies were very nice. I'm not sure if any of them speak English. At least the lady the cut my hair didn't. But as long as they do a good job and I can communicate what I want done, then that doesn't bother me at all. My spanish is not so good. But they had pictures on the wall so I just pointed to the one I wanted. She did a great job and the haircut was only $7. SEVEN DOLLARS! That's a great price! I tipped $3 so 10 bucks total. I usually pay anywhere from $15 to $25 for the same haircut. I'll definitely be going back for my next cut. 8)”

“Wow, the owner is amazing. My wife wanted to have the roof replaced because she didn't like the color, and we just moved in 2 years ago and didn't know how old the roof was. The owner actually told us to wait 5 to 10 years since the roof was still in good shape. We ended up still replacing the roof because my wife wanted to get a different color. They did a great job. Everything went as scheduled, and they kept the place clean and were always friendly.”

“It has been on my list of things to do for a long while to write a review for Austin Construction. Jason, Jeff and their crew did a fantastic job on our addition, kitchen remodel and a few odds and ends we had done at the same time (that included replacing all our windows and doors, redoing a shower, and updating our laundry room). We were referred to Austin Construction by a neighbor that had them do a similar project over a decade ago. In addition, they have done work for several other neighbors in Villa Park. These guys are true professionals. They are easy to work with, honest, dependable and there work is very high quality. One example of this was when the cabinet subcontractor hung the cabinets about 1 cm off, where the trim stuck out into by just a tiny bit into the vaulted area next to the kitchen. When I saw it, I realized either all the cabinets would have to be taken down and moved over a centimeter or I'd have to live with the tiny imperfection. Without me saying a word, Jason walked in, saw the problem and told me, "I'll have the cabinet guy take care of that" and it was taken care of. Jason was primarily in charge of our job. If I wanted something changed, it was a simple as letting him know. I appreciate the lack stress and conflict, as I was home for the whole project with my three young children the whole time. We will definitely use Austin Construction for any future projects, and have recommended them to many friends that have been in the market for a contractor.”
