Beautiful trail! We hiked all the way to the falls. I can't wait to come back during the rainy season!
This is a good trail. Takes a good hiker about 3 hours to and fro. It’s not a real hike as it is mostly flat for the first half.
Love the view. Not a difficult trail to hike.
Great hike. It was a lil hot out but still good. We didn't hike the whole way this time b/c our 9yr old was with us. Had a great time.

The falls at Black Star Canyon have been dry for years. But this past week we had rain, days of rain that slaked the thirsty creek beds and sent water and earth cascading over parched boulders. So I made my way to the Black Star Canyon trailhead. I was there just a few minutes before 6 am.
Any chance you giving more specific directions to Black Star Canyon Trailhead to Beek's Place/waterfall? I am coming from Los Angeles. Where does the trailhead start? Are there lots of hikers too? I don't know anyone else hiking there tomorrow.
