I purchased the Court Reporter Laptop from Martel, and I always receive the best tech support from Jason. Whether it's questions about the updates, Zoom kit, or Bluetooth issues, he always helps me out quickly and efficiently! I have been a freelance court reporter for two years, and I have never felt more supported navigating all the new technology than I do with Jason from Martel!

Jason is superb! I cannot overstate what peace of mind I have knowing Martel's Jason always has my best interest at heart. Any time I call asking for help setting up a new computer, to work with my Zoom equipment I bought from Martel, Jason goes above and beyond making sure my drivers are all set as they should be. He also makes sure my settings are set to the optimum levels. I've bought the conference microphone set from Martel and Jason has me covered there as well. You cannot go wrong buying your recording and Zoom equipment from Jason at Martel. I will always buy from Martel knowing Jason will be there when I need him to take care of my technical needs. Tonight I received my Digital Court Reporter 5000 recorder and had so many questions that I emailed them several times. I was extremely impressed with Jason and his knowledge of this recorder! His response time was impeccable...I needed answers right away. He was very patient with me and he eased my worried mind (big day in court tomorrow.)

I am a court reporter and have been working as an official in Texas for a little over 14 years. I recently purchased a laptop from Martel Electronics, as I was in need of a new computer and I've been happy with the digital recorders I've purchased from them in the past. I have used a MacBook Pro for the majority of my career but decided to look into laptops specifically made for court reporters this time around and am so glad I did and that I went with Martel. The customer service has been great from the beginning. I called and spoke to Jason when considering the purchase and placed the order while on the phone with him. After the computer arrived, he logged into my old laptop and the new one and transferred everything over. The part of getting a new computer that I dread is having to transfer everything, so having Jason do that for me was so nice! He downloaded other programs that I use, as well. I can't say enough good things about Martel and Jason. Our laptops are an investment for us, and this one is worth every penny. If you're in the market for a new digital recorder, I recommend using Martel for those, as well.

I have been court reporting for years, and audio has always been an issue on whatever computer I have owned. I have the new Elite Court Reporter laptop from Martel, and the audio is incredible. I also invested in the Zoom kit, which makes the audio sound like I'm in a theater. My scopist are much happier now too, that they have better audio to work with. Jason has made this process very easy. He did all the work for me! I know sometimes we worry about spending money on new equipment, but this is your livelihood and you need the best. You will not regret investing in either of these products.
