“I closed the iron gate to our apartment, and it pulled my big toenail off, but not quite all the way. It was very painful, and I was about to pass out. My husband took me to SCMC. At first I was put off by the paperwork and having to pay up front, but once Dr. Kadiaka worked on me, I was aware of the excellent medical care there. She and her staff were caring and did a great job of keeping my pain level low. She gave me a few shots to numb the toe and was able to remove the nail. She bandaged it up. I was very impressed by the medical attention I received. I would have to say that I got excellent care.”
