“This review is long overdue. I came to Dr. Cynthia in crisis. I was experiencing alopecia (never had this before) and had a large spot on the crown of my head. I had seen doctors and no one could give me a reason or solution other than recommending steroid shots. I believe in different healing modalities, so a completely Western approach did not sit well with me. I wanted to get to the root, systemic problem and address it correctly. I called Dr. Cynthia and she got me in immediately. She is unfailingly compassionate, kind, an amazing listener and a pseudo therapist. She calmed me immediately. Together we worked out a treatment plan and I happily saw her until my issue reached resolution. I am seeing her again for other issues I’m encountering and I’m reminded of what she is capable of. “Highly recommend. Been coming to Old Towne for 20 years. Been with several eye doctors over the years here. All have been very good or excellent. Facility is nice. Technology and equipment is okay. Parking can be a little tough. Great restaurants, library, and shopping across the street. Receptionists are courteous and professional. Chris does the intake and initial testing. He’s been there for 25 years probably. Chris is there most valuable asset in my humble opinion. He has always helped me select my glasses, contacts, etc. And will always go above and beyond with customer service or to help adjust, fix, dial in, or make things right!!”

“Had an ACL Reconstruction surgery on my left knee here. I can honestly say that everyone here is so helpful, and what I feel is most important: genuine. The staff and doctors here have a great positive attitude, and the surgery was fast and really on for me. I wanted to personally thank one of the nurses, Valerie, for being so kind. The anesthetist Chris Brown was also really funny and helpful to my surgery. Overall, I'm happy to have had my surgery here at this location and highly recommend it to others.”

“I'm doing the weeklong free trial and have gone 4 days straight now. I can't speak highly enough about this fitness studio, and I'll try to break down why: The workout: 45 min HIIT classes with focuses on cardio, resistance, or hybrid, depending on the day. You'll rotate through several different stations with a unique exercise at each. Everyday the workout has been very different, keeping things fresh. It's INTENSE, but it's only what you can handle. The coaches WILL help you modify any and all exercises with no issue. It begins with a quick demo of each exercise, then quick warmup, then straight into it. They have every exercise demonstration playing on screens throughout the studio so you never get lost. You also often get paired up with someone that you'll go through the entire workout with, which helps for form and fun. The coaches: Troy has been awesome! Incredibly friendly and cracks jokes during the workout. Even with that, he's very serious about making sure that people are doing the exercises with proper form (and is really good about coming up with modifications, easier or harder). He's really good about coming around to each person throughout the workout and making sure they're doing all right. I'm sure all the other coaches are the same way. The studio: Always clean, wiped down. Never felt crowded. They also have 2 bathrooms, one of which also has a shower. The VIBE: The classes are intimate. People who come are super friendly! Everyone's giving high fives at the end of class, and you make friends with people bc everyone ends up being regulars. It's a really fun, no-ego atmosphere where everyone's just trying their best to get the best workout. Folks push and help each other in a noncompetitive way. Troy even brought homemade fudge for everyone on the Christmas Eve class. Try to convince me that ain't special.”
