“I'll start this review by stating that I have over 12 years of solar and roofing experience and have sold and/or overseen thousands of projects. So to say that I'm selective about contractors would be an understatement. After receiving several roofing bids from highly qualified contractors who were referred to me, I chose Luke for a number of reasons. First, their pricing was perfectly in line with my expectations of the work to be done (remove & reinstall solar panels, strip roof, perform any wood repairs, install two layers of synthetic underlayment (one low E), install new concrete tiles, and a new skylight). Second, I had observed their performance on my neighbor's home and was impressed. Third, they are local to me in the event I need service in the future. Once the project commenced, every element of it was professionally executed by highly competent crews (one demo, one roof, and one solar), communication was solid throughout, and there were no hassles with permitting or inspections (everything passed first time). We even experienced a freak rainstorm during the project while the tiles were stacked (after completion of underlayment), and there wasn't a leak to to found anywhere. The true test of a waterproof roof is the installation of the underlayment, and ours passed with flying colors! I highly recommend Luke if you need a new roof or are looking into solar for your home. For me, they completed both projects on time, on budget, and did a quality job.”

The soup got Pho was not as flavorful as other vegetarian pho I have tired before. But the claypot rice was amazing. The sauce combination was perfect to bring out the smokey taste of the rice. Note: They do charge for hot tea, only $1.”

“There are so many great benefits to staying at these condos in San Clemente, so it's truly hard to know where to start. My review is in two parts: Tangibles and less tangibles... Intangibles: We have stayed with these hosts three times, and what is hard to communicate is the purposeful and generous way in which these hosts offer these spaces to their guests. I could spend a lot of time here with such examples. I have to believe that their dedication is owed to more than being a business owner, but a passion- this is very rare find. They think about every need and seemingly anticipate every pleasure with wonderful and unexpected surprises of foods and drink. It is hard for us not only to stay anywhere other than here when we visit San Clemente, but to even travel anywhere BUT here. Perfect. On location: the condos are in an excellent location and many of the condos have beautiful views, are minutes walk from the beach and pier, and which is important for our family traveling with a young child. Comfort: the condos are extremely comfortable. The owners have invested in things that often are not invested in like good quality mattresses. I have never spent time at any vacation rental that is more equipped than here both inside the condos as well as equipment for adventuring, outside. this means we don't need to pack the 'kitchen sink.' The condos are very clean and well maintained. It is extremely family friendly and pet friendly Safety: the area feels extremely safe Parking and AC available, and washer/ dryer available onsite which can be hard to find.”

“Situated in the historic Yorba Linda train depot, we stopped in for an afternoon treat. Polly's is well known for it pie, but offers a great menu for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. While we ordered the coconut creme and banana creme pies for ourselves, at the advice of our server, we tried the boysenberry pie Ala mode warmed up and WOW! We enjoyed that together and it was a race to the last bite. My wife, being an only child, is not good at sharing, more on that in another review, but each bite was better than the last. So the boysenberry is excellent, the coconut creme pie is subtle, finishing with a smooth coconut taste and the banana creme is as expected with all of the pies having a soft, flaky, buttery crust that had you eating g the edges because it was just that good. If you find yourself in the area, this is a must do.”
