“My husband and I are so happy that we chose South Coast Midwifery for the birth of our daughter. As first time parents, we were clueless and nervous about the birth process and from the first day we visited SCM we were put instantly at ease and knew it was the right fit. All of the midwives and staff were kind, friendly, so attentive and seemed so invested in my health and pregnancy journey. I had a fairly easy and low-risk pregnancy, but they closely monitored even the smallest of symptoms and were always extremely prompt with communicating about appointments, lab results, and anything else relating to my care. Sarah ended up delivering our daughter and when I went into labor I was so thrilled that she was our assigned midwife. During my birthing time, she quietly stood by and monitored while allowing me to follow my body’s cues and let nature take its course. Sarah never told me to push or gave any direction unless I asked, and every time I did have a question, her answer was “if it feels right to you.” Her trust in me and confidence in my body to do what it was supposed to do made my birth experience feel so safe and empowering at the same time. She was diligent with following up after the birth, continually monitoring any symptoms and making sure I was healing well. I had told the staff throughout the months leading up to the birth that I wanted a peaceful and natural birth experience, and that was exactly what we achieved thanks to Sarah and all of the staff at SCM. We are so grateful for all of the staff and each of their roles in helping safely and peacefully bring our daughter Sophia into the world.”

“I went to the New Year’s party at this country club, and it was worth the price! The staff were very friendly, and the outdoor seating area was spacious and nice. It’s on lower elevation, but from the balcony, you can see a nice view of the golf courses and the beautiful houses of Laguna Niguel on the hill. It was incredibly rainy and freezing outside this day, but the place was well insulated that it was perfectly warm (or, room temperature I should say) inside despite the door being open. I would recommend hosting events here especially if you're worried about the cold!”
