“We had a lovely sailing cruise with captain Eric and captain Gene. Me and my party of 6 did the 3 hour sail. The sail boat was beautiful, clean and both Captain Eric and Captain Gene were knowledgeable, friendly, and took really good care of us. Despite picking a 3pm sail time where the winds were not ideal, they took us out anyway and we got to enjoy the ocean breeze and even saw a few seals. Onboard they provided champagne, some snacks (pistachio, cheeses, grapes) and even allowed us to bring our own wine on board. The sail boat had blankets to sit on/lay down and they even let a couple of us sail the boat! They were also extremely accommodating with us bringing our small dog which I am so grateful for. We are so delighted to have found Pura sailing and look forward to coming back to Oceanside to sail with them again. Book now, you won't regret it!”

“As a fan of diner food, I was excited to see this place so close to the beach when we were deciding where to go for lunch. My beach attire was fine for eating inside. I had the grilled cheese with fries and the brownie sundae. This was the best grilled cheese ever. Not only was the cheese melted just right, and stayed a perfect consistency through my meal; the bread was buttered to perfection, and had that grilled outside but soft inside . “Typically, most times we like to complain about others. However, this shout out goes to Roxanne from morning shift on Sunday. Roxanne way out of her way to help me cash my check and even though she had issues finding me in the system she still tried until accomplished. Long story longer, the check wasn't able to get cashed, but at least I know that we need more people like her, to treat the customer how it's supposed to. I walked out the door cashless but with a great smile from her customer service. Roxanne this review goes out to you and great personality. Have a great one.”
