“We found Ed and Brad through a referral about 1-1/2 years ago. In that time frame they did work for at least five other people we knew and we were able to see their completed work. They were all very happy with the quality of the work and a huge selling point was they only worked on one project at a time. Hence we hired them to redo a bathroom. He came and gave us what we felt was a fair price and gave us a start date. He also suggested redoing some old cabinets in the adjacent hallway, something we had not considered. He said it would be a 2 week job. We agreed on a start date and he started as planned. Ed kept us informed of every step, even letting us know what time he would be arriving each day. If he was going to be later for any reason, he would give us a call. He was very careful about the other parts of the house, trying to keep dust to a minimum and covered up anything that needed to be covered. He completed the job within the two week time frame. Both Ed and his son Brad were very pleasant to have around and we are very happy with the finished product. We would not hesitate to hire him again.”

“Fresh as fresh can be, flavors explosively big and yet balanced. A want-to-try-everything place that is comfortable and affordable enough to make that dream an achievable reality. Some specifics: each piece of Toothpick Lamb had that perfect BBQ tip texture: crisp edges, tender inside. Juicy Steamed Chicken was refreshing, like a cool salad-chicken, moist with skin on in a light vinegary sauce. The Boiled Fish Fillets in Chili Sauce were my fav: buttery pieces of fish so fresh and so perfectly cooked, it just melts in your mouth. That chili sauce is so good—and ample—the people I was with said they regularly take what's left in a to go container, buy fresh fish at the 99 Ranch, and use it for another fish meal at home. The last dish (can't remember the name) had tender ribbons of pork belly—at first I thought it was a tidy pile of wide cut noodles!—never had anything like it, the richness and big flavor, would totally order it again.”
