(November 23, 2018, 11:27 am)Spring time is the best time to go. There are lots of winding trails to explore with a ton of buckeye trees. In spring time there are hundreds of varieties of wildflowers. The history of the park is quite interesting. During the fall you are in the heart of mandarin country so within a few minutes you can get a bag of the best mandarins in the state. Lots of critters and wild life there as well. Pro tip. Look out for poison oak...leaves of three let them be.
