Backwater Reptiles

From what I saw this place gets really bad reviews and very little good but I decided to take a chance with them and share my experience my Male Savannah monitor came today 😊 and he looks to be in good health I stayed very close track with ups on his shipping he came fast down side they did not put a heating pack in there with him so when he arrived he was very tired and luckily I had all his stuff set up so after 10min of being in the tank he spring to life gave him a few crickets and he's loving it so over all pretty good experience and I wish they would put a pice of paper in there that says when he was hatched but over all happy

My child asked for aquatic frogs from Santa. Backwater Reptiles was the only store that had them in stock. They weren't able to ship them on time for Christmas day, but this was mostly because of the climate/temperature risk to the frogs from holiday related shipping delays. We preferred receiving them in good condition over quickly. I received 3 emails from Backwater Reptiles advising of the order, animal care, managing shipping and fast pick-up. I also received an email notifying when shipment was placed. The frogs arrived the next day and we hurried to Fed-Ex to retrieve them. Oh my was my child delighted. The frogs' container came out of the carefully insulated box with live and wiggly critters. Plus there were 2 extra added. Santa victory!!! As a first time customer I had read negative online reviews about this business, but placed the order because they were the only ones in-stock. Not only did we get exactly what we ordered, we got 2 extra, and with good health, good communication, good timing, and a very happy child. Thanks Backwater Reptiles!
