Our son saw Dr. Jeff Vangundy when he was 4 or 5. He performed his surgery to open up his valve. The surgery was a sucess although he had minor leaks. We were just told by a doctor at Seattle's children that he will not need to be seen for 5 years and that he most likely will never need heart valve replacement ever. He remarked that whoever did his surgery did a great job. We are so thankful! Thank you Dr. Jeff many year later!! Our son is 17 now...
Dr Van Gundy is a very competent and skillful doctor. My daughter has seen him probably 4 years now and we've had nothing but positive experiences with this doctor. I trusted him fully to perform delicate cardiac procedures on my child. A pediatric cardiologist is one doctor you cannot choose lightly and I feel that Dr Van Gundy has proven to be both professional and personable.
