Tahoe City Chocolates

Was craving some chocolate after a delicious lunch down the street. Did a simple Google search and journeyed our way to Tahoe City Chocolates. It's located inside a mall on the second floor. It's on the right hand side at the end of the hall when you are at the top of the staircase.

As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by two friendly gentlemen, who were immediately eager to let us sample their sweet fare and introduce various imported chocolate. We tried so many samples we felt guilty!

This is one of the most knowledgeable chocolate shops I've ever been. If you tell them what you like, they can recommend something to fulfill that craving! They offer plenty of homemade chocolate and imported chocolate/ candies you don't normally see, even in an import shop.

We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

We love Tahoe City Chocolates! We have made it a tradition to go every time we are in Tahoe. We drive around the lake, see the sights and stop to get some chocolate! They are always so friendly, generous with samples and of course have great chocolate! Highly recommend.

The two gentleman working the night of 9/24/22 were two of the most knowledgeable and fun young men we've encountered on our trip.

We got green tea and pumpkin ice cream which are not typical flavors but they were amazing. I don’t usually like pumpkin-flavored anything but this was an exception for sure. The texture of the ice cream is to die for. They knew all about their chocolate and candy and even encouraged us to ask any questions we had about them. They gave us free samples without us asking as well which was much appreciated. Definitely would go back once we visit Tahoe again!

The workers are so friendly and super knowledgeable about all things Candy and chocolate. They gave us candy and chocolate samples just walking in the door. Amazing ice cream with wonderful texture. Super tasty chocolate and candy. Will definitely be returning. And highly recommend.
