I primary do mountain biking along these trails, but have also done cross country skiing, hiking, and snow shoeing. The trail isn't necessarily groomed during winter. Parking is only available in nearby neighborhoods.

(June 17, 2017, 11:02 am)Beautiful alpine meadows above Tahoe's west shore. It can be a bit of a hike getting there (depending on how you access) but the serene meadows with snow covered peaks as a backdrop are the payoff. Tahoe Rim Trail passes through Page Meadows so hikers and mountain bikers frequent the area. In early spring butterflies are everywhere and deer and bears can sometimes be seen. In the shade and before/after sun mosquitos can be an issue so bring the bug spray!
