Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge

The staff were so attentive to our needs, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I have always loved the quaint size of the lodge, which affords us more privacy. Our favorite spot is the lake access, which is very inviting and accessible. My kids enjoyed being greeted with cookies when we checked in - snacks are always appreciated! In addition to the beautiful room and comfortable accommodations, I think my favorite thing was the text messaging. We received reminders about cleaning services and communication via text was so easy and efficient. I can't wait to return!

My daughter, granddaughter and I had an amazing stay at Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge. We stayed in one of the two bedroom suites on the second floor with a balcony facing the lake. Immediately upon entering the suite and seeing how beautiful the rooms were and the amazing view of Lake Tahoe from the living room/dinning room, we walked back to the front office to extend our stay from 1 night to 2 nights. We took advantage of the kitchen and cooked both breakfast and dinner two days. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. We also enjoyed using the fireplace each night as we were not used to the cold nights. The women at the front desk was very helpful in extending our stay upon our request and also helped to give us suggestions of paved walks that we could take the baby in a stroller. I highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for an amazing place to stay in Tahoe Vista!

Great room. Very clean. Staff was very responsive to our needs. They provided robes so we could hit the hot tub (it's winter you see), and kitchen tongs when we told them there were none.
My family and I would stay here again.

I would like to rate this 4.5 because was a comfortable and convenient place to stay. It was only 13 minutes to Northstar and we never had traffic. Kitchen was outfitted well and met all our needs. We loved parking our car right by our porch. So nice not to have elevators and a journey every time you want to go somewhere. They have complimentary snow shoes. You may want to consider going to the Donner Party Memorial Museum in Truckee for a free highly informative and interesting 1 hour tour, check with museum for dates and time. We loved the hot tub after skiing with views of the lake and mountains. After all that, we enjoyed dinner in our room and watching a free movie from their library which had a good selection. They aim to please and we have good memories of the Red Wolf Lodge.

Wonderful resort! The kitchen and bathroom were renovated for a contemporary look making the space feel clean and inviting. So many Tahoe lodging options have the exact opposite with outdated furnishing and decor which often gives an unclean appearance.

The staff was very attentive to our after-hours check-in/out so the process went smoothly. Communication was also done via text messaging which received very fast responses during business hours.

A great place to stay if looking for a place in Lake Tahoe's north shore!
