“First off, Thai spicy is super hot. Medium is not medium here so unless you like to live dangerously go lighter on the heat when they ask. You can always add but you can’t take away. I eat here once or twice a year. I usually bring friends and family because it’s a nicer restaurant. The price point is fair for the quality of food, service, and atmosphere. Food is always good and very fresh and light tasting. Pad Thai is great but don’t miss out on some of the other good dishes here. They have Karaoke some nights and the restaurant has a neat design. Clean bathrooms inside. The staff really has a sense of urgency unlike other places. I mean they really hustle. They really want to get you seated fast and your food fast. The restaurant is welcoming and is located in that newer area of Lincoln that is almost Rocklin. Easy access to get there from the highway.”

“My parents bought some Maru Sushi the other day and it was my first time having it. I was really impressed by how good it all tasted from the Salmon, to the sushi rolls, and Gyoza). They have a special lunch box value at $8.50. i always go with the Salmon Teriyaki. I will be coming by to this place whenever I feel like getting something Japanese cuisine. “We showed up as a hungry, travel-weary family who thought we couldn't eat here because there were "CASH ONLY" signs at the door, and we weren't carrying any. We had begun to walk away to look into other possibilities when the hostess insisted that we sit down anyway and eat our dinner. The folks showed unexpected kindness towards strangers and provided excellent service to boost the delicious food and casual ambience. We found a way to pay them, of course, but they did go above and beyond what would be considered normal.”

“My first time in lake Tahoe and Christy hill was my pick for my one-year anniversary with my girlfriend and we were not disappointed at all! We unfortunately were running late and were still seated in the best seat to view the sunset of Lake Tahoe. We started with a goddess salad and chicken liver moose which came out fast and fresh with a lovely glass of rose for both of us with a hibachi fish with some thin crisps and a delicious pork belly with a cooked watermelon on the bottom which was interesting. Finally, our server was nice enough to provide us with a chocolate bread pudding with whipped cream and a candle for us. 5/5 experience and a great way to end the weekend trip. I highly recommend this place as they have a great menu for any occasion.”

Homewood itself is also very very beautiful -- I was there end of season when a lot of the slopes were closed -- I'd like to go back earlier to take in full majesty overlooking Lake Tahoe. Lou is amazing! I feel like I got 10 lessons in one I learned SO SO much. His calm demeanor made me feel assured when we moved to (at my request) more advances slopes. “Staff was super friendly! They greeted me almost right away and I was the one that had to ask for a minute before ordering. They were accommodating to the mods I asked for (added tomato). I was that one odd person ordering breakfast for dinner, but my order was ready pretty quickly. The bread was toasted to perfection and I really enjoyed the meal! “Went here for my son and daughter' s birthday celebration dinner. The wait was only about 20 mins and we were met with friendly staff upon arrival. The server looked to be handling quite a few tables so it was short conversation that didn't let you see their true personality. Once we were to dessert it had slowed down and we found the server funny and delightful. The appetizers were good size portions. The entrees were amazing. The dessert was DELICIOUS. I recommend the "Chocolate Dream". It seems the only negative was just the fact that there were not enough employees to meet the demand of customers and that is in my opinion not the fault of the restaurant or their staff. It's how it is in many businesses these days. I highly recommend you come and enjoy yourselves.”
