“They made the food in 20 minutes and were very kind while ordering. We got the green and yellow curries, rice, and a pad Thai to share among the family of adults. Finally, a mango and black rice dessert. Overall, great food. I wouldn’t order the pad Thai again, but the curries were delicious and has a decent amount when taken to go. The mango sticky rice was very good, as well!”

“This is one of our kid’s favorite chicken places. The employees were nice and the food came out quickly. This is a big deal because fried food at almost anywhere takes a while to come out. We didn’t wait long. The food tasted good. Sometimes when you order fried food it has that burnt oil taste but that wasn’t our experience here. The food was cooked perfectly. The flavors we chose tasted as expected based on their names and were overall good. The waffle was the most impressive. It was huge, and you got so much considering it’s price. We asked and found out that it was made from scratch and did not come out of a carton. We may come back just for waffles. A key thing to note is that this place is very filling. Order the smaller portions. You’ll be full. Seriously. The bad: the bathroom was gross, and the soda machine was out of soda. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant could be improved.”

“I had Dennis Schlumpf and Associates, remodel our Tahoe house. I hired Dennis for my Tahoe remodel a couple of years a ago. He showed us a few issues as he examined our house and then offered solutions. He had an architect draw up plans for our entry which was to be remodeled. Dennis gave us a very detailed, itemized contract which allowed me to see exactly what was going to be worked on. As the work was accomplished, he would send me a bill. He used only his very trusted and quality sub-contractors, each of whom did wonderful work. I was not there because I live a few hours away from Tahoe, however I visited as much as I could during the remodeling. We couldn't be more pleased with the results of our home exterior and interior and feeling assured that everything was completed as if it were his own home. Dennis has proven himself to be a real perfectionist! Plus, he is a trusted professional, a consummate gentleman, and very enjoyable and fun with whom to work. I cannot speak more highly of him.”

“Shout out to Lakeside Beverages here in our local Granite Bay community. My wife and I visited this location for the first time after living in the area for the past few years. I thought this was another liquor store until we walked in. We were greeted immediately by the owner Sam, he was very kind and could tell it was our first time in. Little did we know we came on a Friday and it was a tasting event day. Lakeside Beverages does events on the weekend and they have delightful wines and products. I was shocked with how many high end rare choices they have and how knowledgeable Sam is about the entire process and his products. If you are looking for an amazing place to visit and have a nice time over the weekend, or looking for a great place to grab drinks on the way to the Lake. Stop here and talk with Sam, you will not be disappointed.”

A friend referred me to Sam, after having had a great experience with her car. I feel so fortunate to finally have found someone who patiently and simply explained the problem I was having, the options for repair, pricing estimates and time-frame for completing the work. Sam delivered on all the expectations and I cannot recommend him highly enough. My jaguar is running like a charm. An excellent mechanic, and a lot less expensive than other places I was quoted for the same job. Super nice guy!”

“I have lived in Granite bay mobile home park a little over a year now. I had relocated from another state and had difficulty getting a new place and making the transition into my mobile home. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and how welcoming Sandy Garcia, the property manager made me feel and went extra links to make the paperwork and the move-in quite easy for me. It has been a very comfortable and warm year for me living here. There have been no problems with the people that live in the park, everyone is pleasant and very friendly. The few issues I have had regarding my trailer and fix ups I have taken to Sandy and she has always helped me resolve what it was I was asking about with warmness and a caring attitude. Sandy is always on track and makes sure the park is clean and a nice place to live in. I have only had one other property manager in all the years where I have lived in a community that has gone the extra mile and helped me and others and made living in a place so nice. I would recommend this park and the way that it is run by Sandy and Granite Bay properties Inc. to anyone, there are a few kids that live in the park also that are respectful and well mannered. It’s nice to be able to live here and not worry about things such as safety & cleanliness and that you can take things to her and know that they will be resolved in a timely and wonderful manner. Five stars!”
