“Really needs a lot of tender loving care. This resort can be SO MUCH BETTER. The location is golden, the beach space is the only one of it's kind in this area, the views are breathtaking but the rooms leave very little to get excited about . Resort could easily be 5 stars if their rooms were very much updated and improved. There have very sterilize feel and look to them. Rooms are functional. The location is everything which is why I keep coming back year after year. Seeing that you're in the mountains a deep soak spa tub would be HEAVEN after a full day of being outdoors especially during the winter months when the hot tub and sauna are closed for the season. The NEW STAFF IS GREAT!! SO RELIEVED THEY GOT RID OF THOSE OLD, GRUMPY FOLKS who used to manage it before. Some SERIOUS financial investigations should take place to see WHERE all the owner's maintenance fees were going because it SURE AS HELL WASN'T TO THE RESORT. YAY FOR CHANGE, HOPE IS ON THE HORIZON !”

“Epic BBQ, and the best hot wings I’ve found on the north shore so far. Ribs & catfish are my other favorites. Turkey a little dry but just throw some more sauce on and you’ll be good. Peach cobbler is the best I’ve had since my grandma passed away, so I always have to get another serving to take home and have another day when it’s on the menu (their menu of sides rotates, and when something sells out it sells out)… Definitely still one of my favorite places to eat on the north shore after living here the last couple years and trying most of what’s available around here.”

“J&G has been my LGS for the last several months. In that time I have taken three firearms to them for cleaning and appraisal. In each case I was more than satisfied with the work they did. They cleaned and repaired a Remington 700 back to firing condition. I also purchased a handgun from them; the transaction was seamless. I highly recommend their gunsmithing services, even if it's just a deep clean. J&G are definitely on the pricier side, but it's been worth it to me. When other places were out of the ammo I wanted, J&G had some on hand. When I wanted a Glock, they had one. They're a little out of the way, and a decent drive for me, but every trip has been worth it. They also have a small but decent selection of new handguns for sale, in addition to consignment sales. However, if you want a long arm, this is definitely your shop. All in all, every one is going to have their opinion, but for me it's been worth it to support a local business and gun shop to boot.”

“These guys are awesome. They have really cool four door Jeep Wranglers that are lifted. It's really nice renting a 4x4 in Tahoe especially during winter to get around town easily. The Tahoe Jeep Rental crew is friendly, extremely knowledgeable and you can tell they are passionate about providing excellent client service.The crew here is really knowledgeable about the off road trails and forest roads to explore in the area. We had a fun time with the kids and family exploring Lake Tahoe's back country.”
