  As a United States Army Veteran with a background in special operations training, I can honestly say I’m blessed to have found Sifu Sherman and Inland Empire Fighting Systems. I have been hibernating for over 15 years without virtually any exercise, lots of excuses led to that but in reality it was mainly being comfortable.
  
  I ran across a few videos from Sifu Sherman and it really caught my eye, I started following/stalking his videos and page for about 6 months before I finally made a decision to come meet him and his staff in person. I can honestly say it’s been the best decision I’ve made in the last 15 years. No offense to any of the other martial arts out there, I just didn’t see myself joining something that wasn’t practical in real life situations. As a former military member and a bouncer, I’ve been in many combat/crazy alterations and in order for me to be truly motivated, I would have to be stimulated mentally and physically in an art that is truly applicable in real life.
  
  The combinations of Jeet Kune Do, Kali, Krav, Japanese combat Jujitsu, weapons training etc make Shifu Sherman one of the best. Also as a Sheriff he brings the real life experience to the training. Shifu Sherman is also a man of God which is a very important part of my life as well.
  
  I’m definitely looking forward to everything I will be learning in the future in the arts with Sifu Sherman and his great staff as well as getting back my health in order. I highly recommend anyone who is looking for a place to study the arts to come in, it will be a life changing experience in all aspects of your life.
  
  Sure you may be sore, have some bruises etc, but you will definitely be ready for anything the real world throws at you, don’t let yourself or your loved ones be victims.

  I highly recommend this training not only for adults but for kids as well. Training ranges from every day self defense to defending against life threatening situations. Very knowledgeable and experienced instructors with great teaching techniques.

  Excellent place to train, get in shape, and learn to fight. I recently joined and couldn't be happier. Sifu Sherman is a dedicated instructor, easy going and focused on teaching his students how to prepare for the real world. You learn how to deal with real life situations. The advanced students in class are very helpful. I would highly recommend this place.

  Joining Inland Empire fighting systems is one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life. Sherman and Adam have abundant knowledge in Jeet Kune Do. They truly care about about teaching self defense and make sure each student develops the necessary skills in kicking, punching, trapping, and grappling. I have noticed a tremendous improvement in my coordination, endurance, power, mobility, speed, flexibility and balance thanks to Sherman and Adam. I highly recommend anybody that wants to take their training to the next level to join I. E fighting systems.

  I highly recommend Sifu Sherman. I am a ER nurse at a county hospital and I was brutally attacked and left with permanent injuries. I have been locked up in my house for more than two years trying to recover and healing from four surgeries in two years. The violent attack has also scared my confidence and happiness. My life was in constant vigilant mode and afraid of the next attack. I had a lot of balled up angry and started affecting my family. “Mom was no longer the tough, hard working, loving mother,” she once was. Until one day I decided that I could not keep letting others run my life! I needed a training that was going to be realistic to my needs and had scenario training without restrictions. Sifu Sherman was what I was looking for, he teaching real life self defense techniques that have no rules because in real life situations like mine, there are no rules!! He is very understanding to my situation and has brought back my confidence to know that I will not allow myself to ever be a victim of violence again!
